About Us

Greg Hartnett received his Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Salve Regina University. He has helped to protect and strengthen children and families for 38 years at the Rhode Island Department for Children, Youth, and Families. He is a United States Navy Veteran and supported the US Marine Corps in Korea, Okinawa, and the Philippines.

His experience includes risk assessment in trauma-based situations to individuals and families. He specializes in assessing the risk of harm to children and families in areas of substance abuse, abuse and neglect, domestic violence, and sexual abuse. Greg has extensive experience working with Law Enforcement and the Court System. He has managed the RI Child Abuse Hotline, and supervised Child Protective Investigators, making safety plans for children and families. He developed training seminars and trained employees in Child Abuse and Neglect and Child Placement Issues.
